Dr. Ezra Kottler starts their own lab!

Ezra Kottler (they/them), formerSmith Conservation Fellow with our lab, has started their own lab at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA! Their “Cal Restoration Ecology Research Lab” aims to develop evidence-based restoration and management strategies for managing plant populations and communities in human-impacted landscapes. The lab is up and running and looking to grow, so reach out to Ezra if you are interested in joining their team!

We will miss Ezra’s bright energy in our lab, but we are excited that they have landed near vernal pools in California! We look forward to continuing to collaborate on several ongoing and future projects.
